We test and clear our breeding dogs for Hip dysplasia, Elbow dysplasia, Eyes, SA, Heart, thyroid, and DNA test for vWD and NE. We feel it is important to submit results to OFA and the Poodle Health Registry. Good or bad, results are important information for the poodle breed. See our dogs test results on their individual pages and OFA.

If you are not familiar with how or why VIP got started (from VIP group on FB).... In the fall of 1992 a number of Poodle owners happened to attend the same obedience workshop. As they compared notes they found to their dismay that all of them had at least one Poodle with a serious health problem. Everyone agreed that something needed to... be done. Versatility In Poodles (VIP) was formed by a group of these owners to meet this need. To date VIP has donated over $75,000 to various research grants for, but not limited to: oral melanoma, leptospirosis, PRCD-DNA, Hemangiosarcoma, Addison's Disease, and Bloat.
